When You Feel Hidden, God Still Sees You

ree

There are days I feel like I’m living in the background — folding laundry, sitting behind a desk or wiping noses while others lead movements. And if I’m honest, sometimes I wonder…

Does any of what I do matter to God? Does it all really make a difference?

The truth of it all is that

The Quiet Places Are Not Forgotten

God has a long history of seeing those the world overlooks.

  • Hagar in the desert called Him El Roi — "the God who sees me" (Genesis 16:13).

  • David was a forgotten shepherd when God called him a king.

  • The woman who touched Jesus’ cloak in the crowd wasn’t ignored — she was seen, healed, and honored.

God specializes in finding us in the unseen places. He meets us in the kitchens, the corners, the quiet tears in the bathroom, the late-night prayers over our children and family.

He sees you. All of you. You Are Not Disqualified

I almost didn’t write this. Part of me still wonders if my words will matter, especially as someone who struggles with anxiety. But I’ve learned that the enemy loves to use insecurity to silence the voices God is trying to raise. Maybe you're like me — thinking your story isn’t “big enough,” your words aren’t “strong enough,” or your influence isn’t “loud enough.”

But what if showing up in your quiet, faithful way is exactly what God desires from you?

God doesn't need you to be famous. He just needs you to be faithful.

What You Do in the Background Still Echoes in Heaven

Every diaper changed, every dish washed, every whispered prayer, every moment you choose peace over panic — it matters. You’re building something invisible but eternal.

So if you're reading this and feeling unseen, I want you to know:

💛 God sees you.🫶🏽 God hears you.🔥 And God can use your quiet obedience to change the world in ways you’ll never fully see.

You don’t have to be center stage to be central to God’s plan. You just have to stay close to Him. And in doing that — you are already making a difference, and what a difference you're making already.
